STRAIGHT TITLE; ROCHE, KOSTRO AND DIGILIO ALL HOMER FOR BISONS

Al "The Natural" Miller holds aloft the MSESL Championship trophy as Brian Fallon looks onSeptember 13, 2003.....The Motor Pool Renegades won their 2nd straight MSESL title last night at Boston Common with a 17-9 victory over FHWA. It was the second straight Finals sweep of FHWA for the Renegades. Al Miller won his 9th consecutive post season game but only after the Bisons rallied from an early 5-0 deficit. The Renegades broke open an 8-8 tie with 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning and after FHWA pulled within 12-9 with a single run in the top of the 5th, the Bisons put the game and series away with 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th to clinch their second straight title. John Roche, Chuck Kostro and Vin Digilio all homered for the Bisons while Brian Fallon led the 25-hit attack with a 4 for 4 night.
